The Irish Sangha Trust (IST) was established in 2011 to support and foster teaching and meditation practice in the Theravada Buddhist tradition in Ireland. The Irish Sangha Trust is non-profit Buddhist organization, entirely dependent on the generosity of the public for voluntary donations.
Our annual schedule includes regular workshops, retreats and meditation sittings. Events are open to everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners. We welcome you to join our spiritual friends network and experience the profound benefits of meditation practice.
IST Christmas DinnerFriday, the 8th of December 2017, 19:00We would like to invite you to our alternative IST Christmas dinner (alcohol-free and meat-free). This will be a relatively informal evening, starting with a 15-minute silent meditation followed by a shared vegetarian meal. Please bring pre-prepared food to share as usual (including savoury food!), with non-alcoholic drinks. All festive offerings are welcome! This is a social event that we host annually to give people the opportunity to meet and chat with spiritual friends. We will take the opportunity to let you know what we have planned for 2018 and to listen to any suggestions and feedback you may have. Registration: please click here (or contact us at info@irishsanghatrust.ie)
