The Irish Sangha Trust (IST) was established in 2011 to support and foster teaching and meditation practice in the Theravada Buddhist tradition in Ireland. The Irish Sangha Trust is non-profit Buddhist organization, entirely dependent on the generosity of the public for voluntary donations.

Our annual schedule includes regular workshops, retreats and meditation sittings. Events are open to everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners. We welcome you to join our spiritual friends network and experience the profound benefits of meditation practice.

Silent Day of Practice in Coolock

November 4th, 2023 - 9:30 am - 4 pm

Dear friends

We would like to invite you to a silent day of practice on Saturday November 4th from 9.30am to 4pm at the Vietnamese Pagoda, Coolock. The intention behind the day is both to provide a space to support our individual practice, as well as to nurture the sense of sangha.

The day will be a combination of sitting and walking meditation. The schedule is below. It may not be suitable for beginners, as no instruction will be given.

We will share a vegetarian lunch. As we do not wish to impose on our hosts, please bring a dish that can be shared (main dishes are especially welcome!)

The pagoda has floor cushions but if you would like to use a meditation cushion or stool please bring this along.

Donations will be offered to the pagoda.

Please register your interest in attending by using THIS FORM.
