The Irish Sangha Trust (IST) was established in 2011 to support and foster teaching and meditation practice in the Theravada Buddhist tradition in Ireland. The Irish Sangha Trust is non-profit Buddhist organization, entirely dependent on the generosity of the public for voluntary donations.

Our annual schedule includes regular workshops, retreats and meditation sittings. Events are open to everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners. We welcome you to join our spiritual friends network and experience the profound benefits of meditation practice.

Meditation and meitheal meeting in Dublin

May 4th (10:00-13:30)

Dear Dhamma friends,

We invite you to take part in a 'meditation and meitheal' meeting on Sunday May 4th, 10 am - 1:30 pm, in Michelle's house in Dundrum.

The spirit of meitheal is to practice care and collective work together.

In the morning, we will start with meditation followed by a period of collective gardening work. While some tools will be available if you have your own (gloves, trowels, shovels, forks etc) please bring them along.
We will break for a shared potluck lunch at 12.30, followed by tea. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share.

The heart of this practice is to nurture the bonds of sangha and practice mindful working and eating together.
If you would like to attend please DM Michelle for details of the address: michelle.aisling.darcy@gmail.com

Best wishes,

IST
